Hey, you over there, stop breathing so much. You're endangering the rest of us.
Or at least that's what the Environmental Protection Agency would have you believe. The EPA officially ruled yesterday that carbon dioxide (CO2) is a dangerous pollutant subject to government regulation even without benefit of new legislation. CO2 is, of course, what animals and people exhale with every breath, after inhaling oxygen.
The EPA hastens to add that its CO2 "endangerment" ruling is aimed only at organizations that emit more than 250 tons of CO2 a year, not at ordinary people. But that's cold comfort. Common-sense limitations on regulations have a way of evaporating into thin air when the bureaucratic state starts ruling by administrative fiat. The EPA in recent years has become known for sending armed SWAT-type teams into small businesses for relatively minor enforcement actions. Indeed, businesses, both large and small, are likely to suffer drastically from the EPA's decision.

Gain CO2 offsets by killing Bambi, et. al.(including Polar Bears - probably the largest source of CO2 in the Arctic.

How many kids, and adults, will experience some form of anxiety as a result of this ‘official’ proclamation?
athletics and exercise must now be banned as they increase the rate of respiration.
LOL...and thanks to militant anti-smokers and their unwitting dupes, there’s oodles of second hand smoke laws, restrictions and precedence that can be easily adopted to regulate how we all exhale.
Slaves to the EPA
sung to the tune of BORN IN THE USA
Born down in a normal town
The first crime I did was when I exhaled air
My parents criminal act was using heat too much
Till they spend half their life just paying up
Slaves to the EPA, We are owned by the EPA
I owe my life to the EPA, Owned by the EPA
My SUV is a little homegrown jam
So they put a golf cart in my hand
It was made in a foreign land
To pay back bill to the yellow man
Slaves to the EPA, We are owned by the EPA
I owe my life to the EPA, Owned by the EPA
Come back home to the refinery
Hiring man said we are closing see
Went down to see solar man
He said son, don’t you understand
I had a brother at EXXON
Drilling wells that last so long
They’re not there, plugged and gone
He had a pickup he loved in Houston
I got a picture of it in Gov hands now
Down in the shadow of the penitentiary
Gas fires out in the refinery
I’m ten years burning down the road
Nowhere to run ain’t got nowhere to go
Slaves to the EPA, We are owned by the EPA
I owe my life to the EPA, Owned by the EPA
Owned by the EPA,
I’m a fool sucking victim of the EPA.
Exactly. Sports must be outlawed. Physical fitness centers must be destroyed. Military training forbidden. The Exhale Police will be on the lookout to arrest fat people for breathing excessively.
How about we start a Tea Party where we show up in large groups around EPA office breathing heavily and drinking soda pop.
We could do breathing exercises together where we breathe in, hold it and then all breathe out at once.
Maybe have signs that say, “The EPA hates trees, think of the saplings!”

If you start shooting polar bears to limit the CO2 they produce they are going to start saying that Gore-bull warming killed them and only reinforce their false point. I think capturing polar bears and setting them loose in environmentalists homes and businesses would be far more effective.
When I used to say that if the government could figure out a way to tax breathing, they would do it, I thought I was being facetious. Now I’m not so sure.
To think the human race has survived this long with all this toxic breathing nonsense.
The emissions in Yellowstone Park each year are significantly more than that. What are they going to do, shut down the volcano under the park? That'll surely create a bunch of construction jobs. Here I come, shovel ready or not!

Perhaps we could use Polar AND Grizzly bears to wreak righteous environmental CO2 justice?
LOL!
This same "thinking" is applied by the rabid environmentalists who love the reintroduction of wolves yet turn a blind eye to the decimation of the elk population as a result of their irresponsible wildlife management.
I always ask them: "Why do environmentalists hate elks?"
Clearly the EPA has been falling down on the job by not taking the NPS to task for sulfur emissions in Yellowstone. That CO2 in Yellowstone may be an issue too is icing on the cake.
