The Obama administration is warning Congress that if it doesn't move to regulate greenhouse gases, the Environmental Protection Agency will take a "command-and-control" role over the process in a way that could hurt business.
The warning, from a top White House economic official who spoke Tuesday on condition of anonymity, came on the eve of EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson's address to the international conference on climate change in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Jackson, however, tried to strike a tone of cooperation in her address Wednesday, explaining that the EPA's new powers to regulate greenhouse gases will be used to complement legislation pending in Congress, not replace it.

Climatologists Baffled by Global Warming Time-Out
My view is that temperatures have stopped rising because they are not influenced by CO2 levels and the entire theory of global warming is a hoax. It makes no sense scientifically that the earth can release enough of the solar energy absorbed by the atmosphere, land, and oceans so that temperatures stay very stable for decades, but then a tiny amount of CO2 (relative to the mass of the atmosphere, oceans, and earth's surface) could somehow throw this stable system way out of balance and cause serious warming. That makes no sense whatsoever and the climate "scientists" need to go back to their theory and models and rethink the whole thing because they never gave this theory enough thought and never did enough research into it before hundreds of these clowns jumped on the GW bandwagon, for recognition and profit. The earth has efficient methods of releasing solar energy that can easily handle the tiny amount of extra energy absorbed by CO2, resulting in no change to earth's temperature caused by CO2 levels.
2012 can't get here fast enough, when we can get rid of this dreadful foolish administration and its idiotic bureaucrats. You climate "scientists" who are pushing this theory so irresponsibly, you need to go back to your offices and reexamine all of your scientific assumptions and equations and find the ones that are wrong. Any expert statistician can disprove GW theory just by analyzing the history of the temperature record and CO2 levels. This history shows that CO2 levels are influenced by temperature and not the other way around.
And if conservatives (once they are voted in in ‘12) don’t FIRE the entire lot of that worthless collection of should be jobless idiots, I’ll lead the revolution myself.
I say bring it on. 2010 will be a slaughter...we will tie Bambi up in knots from 2011 until the 2012 election. Maybe even put some impeachment talk in the wind. It won’t go anywhere...but might possibly make Bambi think twice about policy and the Marxist Judges he want to appoint.

What if Congress passed a law with a veto proof majority that limits the EPA and explicitly removes the EPA's power to regulate CO2 instead? No, I don't expect that to happen, but it is nice to dream.
The administration statement reads like someone committing a mugging with a pit bull (the dog of peace): If you don't hand over your wallet, my dog will take a command and control role over your leg.

The EPA is part of the Executive Branch and they are threatening Congress? Heck, it’s about time to bring the Supremes into the climate discussion.
The GOP had six years to neuter/dismantle the EPA and other rabid leftist groups. They did NOTHING with the power they had. I don’t see the point in working hard to give them the power again....unless they’ve got someone like Sarah Palin teaching them how to be conservatives, that is.
