SNOWY SATURDAY FREEP: Week 204, Olney, MD Dec. 05, 2009
Dec. 09,2009

Posted on 12/09/2009 1:31:28 PM PST by trooprally

Nope, you did not miss Weeks 202 and 203. This Saturday’s Support the Troops Rally was so neat that I had to do it now.

While our snowy Saturday morning is nothing compared to what the mid-west or northeast is getting, we were out there.

Roll call of this week’s 7 patriots includes Legionnaires Halsey (Korea - USMC), Lurker Bill and Cindy_True_Supporter, Fraxinus, GunsAreOK, [Mrs] Trooprally and myself.

Videos by [Mrs] T.

Because of the weather conditions, and the construction removing the concrete walk where we put together our banners on wet days, we only put up the flags on our flanks.

BELOW: We received a lot of honks, waves and thumbs up. As expected, the moonbats were no shows.

BELOW: Lurker Bill, some what of a comedian, got his squeegie and cleans off our snowy signs. It was a heavy wet snow that stuck to everything. We usually say that we prefer snow over rain because snow bounces off ones clothing. But today the snow was acting just like rain.

As always, the D.C. Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.

But a lot of verbal engagement in Olney is always welcome.

Thanks from the Olney patriots. Olney received a little more than 2” of real wet snow. Tough shoveling before it froze that night.

Brrrr! It looks like that Global Warming stuff was sticking to everything, signs, clothes, noses. You all are heroes to me, standing out there in all kinds of weather. Thank you for your dedication, in Olney and at Walter Reed.

Stay warm out there!

Wow!

The video is unreal and if I hadn’t seen it I wouldn’t have known how real it made a supportthetroops rally.

It shows the rally area, real shots of the Olney patriots and the cars passing by constantly, all in 1 minute and 30 seconds.

Can’t wait for a Walter Reed video.

Thanks guys.

Fantastical! You guys should do more videos. It was just like being there, without the cold. Nice to hear your voice, albeit brief. Two thumbs up. God bless you all.

It was a good day for videos. Stills just were not going to do the snow justice.

We may have to wait for some summer daylight for WR. Speaking of WR, on Christmas Day please be sure to bring your camera. [Mrs] T will be staying home to play hostess for our family and will be taking pictures there.

Thank you.

I had thought of having [Mrs] T just setting up the camera and letting it run for the hour we are out there, then cut/paste a shorter show. We would need a back up still camera for walk around shots.
