Sarah Palin decries 'hoax' of climate change data

Tim Reid in Washington

Sarah Palin all but declared global warming a hoax yesterday when she urged President Obama to boycott the Copenhagen climate change conference and to stand up to the “radical environment movement”.

The former Alaska Governor and possible 2012 presidential contender seized upon leaked e-mails from climate change scientists at the University of East Anglia. The scientists have been accused by global warming sceptics of falsifying data to make the case that the phenomenon is real and man-made, something they deny.

The scandal has become a cause célèbre among climate change deniers and sceptics in the US. A group of Republican politicians has vowed to fly to Copenhagen next week to argue that the threat from global warming is overblown and too costly to act on.

Writing on the editorial page of The Washington Post — which was criticised from the Left for allowing her to argue her case — Mrs Palin said: “The revelation of appalling actions by so-called climate change experts allows the American public to finally understand the concerns so many of us have articulated on this issue. She added: “‘Climategate’, as the e-mails have become known, exposes a highly politicised scientific circle — the same circle whose work underlies efforts at the Copenhagen climate change conference. The agenda-driven policies been pushed in Copenhagen won’t change the weather but they would change our economy for the worse.

Most of The Times staff were unhinged Palin haters in 2008 election cycle. The supposedly conservative and serious newspaper in UK showed its disturbing side in that incident. Entrenched snobbery of in-crowd.

They were over the top and knee-jerk in their vitriolic response. Typical in-crowd reaction to outsiders, who they think should not fit in. Nothing more than that. Now they are realizing they are not dealing with political lightweight. It is only recent that they even bother to assess her views and policy direction seriously.

Bottom line

Water vapor is the largest “greenhouse gas”. The contribution by carbon dioxide is just “noise”, attributing, even at the highest estimates, only 1/4 of the effect.

CO2 is .003 % of the atmosphere.
Man’s contribution, even to this miniscule amount, is only 3%.

So...
It’s an agenda. An agenda to constrict your lifestyle, steal your property, and limit your family size.

If your neighbor was attempting to do this to you, you’d respond in a dramatic manner.

No fears, they lack the stones.

THIS MAY BE A DUMB REDNECK QUESTION. Regarding the rising water levels because of globull warming. If most of the polar ice is floating, if it melts, won’t we have lower water levels?
I know this is what happens with a glass of ice water. then again, I’m just a poor uninformed redneck according to the elite.

Interesting, and not-so-subtle admission that totalitarianism and repression animates the Left.

I’m probably the last person to go out and recommend a woman for President. . . but Sarah is our only hope! Conservatives, Tea Partiers, republicans, independents elect this woman President! She has more common sense in her little finger than the rest of the lot of pretenders put together. All she has to do is surround herself with competents (as Reagan did!) like Weinburger, Meese, Regan, Baker, etc. and she would be a great President!
