The purpose of government schools is to indoctrinate children into loving state power. Asking the schools to stop doing what they are designed to do is like asking a fish not to swim or a bird not to fly. They won’t change what is in their nature to do.

True education will never happen through the government school monopoly. It must be broken up.

Amen. Take your kids/grandkids out of government schools NOW. Vote no on all gov't school bonds. Do not send money to public universities. And keep your eye on Catholic schools if you go that way - they buy into a lot of marxist BS as well.

EXACTLY! Coercion is the basis of any government organization, although of course if citizens go along with it the coercion may not be obvious. Millions of Americans are fooling themselves that "we the people" can reform a government institution. It's the nature of the beast. If a higher percentage of Americans sacrificed to keep their children out of government schools, school taxes might be seen in another light, and who knows what changes might come. But even if changes did not happen, parents really need to ask themselves what is the right thing to do. Even if it is hard.
