Earlier this fall, while scanning the merchandise at a state gun show for an antique handgun, longtime gun enthusiast Guy Gorsky took notice of more than the array of potential investment pieces.
Based on the attire worn, questions asked and weapons eyed by a group of young men, Gorsky, who attends three or four gun shows a year, had a feeling they were gang members looking to make a quick purchase.
They were only looking at automatic weapons, says Gorsky, who keeps a variety of handguns and rifles in his Madison home. I found that the most concerning.
Unlike weapons purchased from a federally licensed firearms dealer, weapons bought at a gun show can often be whisked away the same day without a background check because not all sellers at gun shows are federally licensed.

Automatic weapons haven't been sold without a special permit in decades so this person (who owns a variety of guns but apparently doesn't know the most basic firearms laws)is either a liar or an idiot. The most likely scenario is that this "concerned citizen" is a figment of the author's imagination.
Oh the humanity, the dreaded gun show loophole.
This POS hasn’t been near a gun show. Nor does he know the effort that goes into insuring that the dreaded gun show loophole isn’t. Not to mention the machine gun stupidity he is trying to sell.
You mean gun shows aren't full of conservatives, Christians, prior military, and other potential terrorists buying armloads of automatic weapons and nukes? Based on the media, I never would have guessed that.
I got your kielbasa right here.
Please, Brer Fox, don't throw me into that briar!
The biggest mistake these clowns in DC could make would be to come for firearms. Bring it on.
So they interview someone who has no idea what he’s talking about to back up their agenda of the article. I’m sure they talked to people who do know the facts, but chose to leave their statements out.
I loved the line about “gun-lobbyists” vs. Democrats looking to reduce gun-violence. Oh, so evil gun lobbyists want people to get shot with guns, eh?
Bitter Christian Conservatives lining up at gun shows to buy automatic weapons through a loophole.
(story summary)
I loved the line about gun-lobbyists vs. Democrats looking to reduce gun-violence.
...and I loved this one, the answer is a scream, no pun intended, just get rid of democrats.
"Racial profiling," anyone??? I thought that profiling was bad, according to liberals.

—yeah, that kinda pops right out—
The biggest mistake these clowns in DC could make would be to come for firearms.
They will not come for our firearms, but rather will pick away at individuals who do not have the financial means to fight them in court. When that happens it will be up to the masses to either rebel or submit.

Journalist Union Rule 102a, 2.0,c
Every article involving Firearms must be written by a ditz reporterette who doesn't even know which end of a gun the bullet comes out of.102a, 2.0,c1
In case no ditz reporterette is available the editor must assign it to the biggest flaming metrosexual on staff.
You’re right; these stories are BS. The NewSpeak definition of “automatic weapon” is certainly different than my understanding of it; soon revolvers will be “automatic weapons”...
I’ve seen some great slogans on bumper stickers: “Only free men have guns”, “Americans are citizens; British are subjects”, “All in favor of gun control raise your right hand” (Hitler on one side and Stalin on the other, saluting with their right hands)...
I agree with you which is what makes this article so curious. What is the point of printing such patent drivel if there is no goal in sight of confiscation? Just to further demonize patriots? Why? The only folks who believe this drivel already worship “The Won”. I suppose they need to be continually pumped with such crap but it seems pointless to me.
Even my grandchildren know it’s “Ready, AIM, Fire”. Or “Ready, Set, Go”. Sheesh, some people are stoopid.
