Where do you think all that ‘foreign aid’ cash went? They were funneled straight into the hands of the crackpot dictators, their loyal cronies, their Swiss bank accounts and their military-industrial complexes.

true but is it the fault of the “west” that people in Africa still decide to live in agony because they still believe that all their misery is the guilt of the “white europeans”? and not because of their so called leaders. Strange europe has conquered (and ok should be mentioned somehow has exploited most places on this earth in history “this is a fact”) but after that are all this people starving? they may not have the same living standarts as we do now but finally they made it somehow. then take most parts of africa they did what???

the third world wants to be PAID for doing nothing.

this is akin to “buggy whip” reparations.

"The vast majority of countries here want to see an extension of Kyoto."

I thought the countries that accepted/ratified/bound themselves to adhere to Kyoto . . . just ignored it in practice -- it was all just lip service. Why the insistence on an extension?

oh those poor Africans, we pay most of their food, we pay most of everything they have...

I thought mostly we paid their tin-pot dictators to stay in power and live high on the hog . . . I could be wrong . . .

Does Sarah Palin believe in this Global Warming nonsense?

Not so you'd notice! How did you miss her op ed in the Washington Post?

"Climate-gate," as the e-mails and other documents from the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia have become known, exposes a highly politicized scientific circle -- the same circle whose work underlies efforts at the Copenhagen climate change conference. The agenda-driven policies being pushed in Copenhagen won't change the weather, but they would change our economy for the worse.

Maybe the picture's of Tina Fey? ;-)

not for doing nothing! hey we pay the food for their kids so “we” have to shoot them years later because of some political mission (sorry for stressing but i´m a little bit drunk and the fact that i shot an african kid on part of an EU mission still haunts me)

***Africa sucks. It always has and it always will. The last time anybody worked for a living was building Pyramids.****

Perhaps that is why the British Empire in Africa imported thousands of people from India to get the work done.

If you read the book The Man Eaters of Tsavo by J H Patterson you will find this is the case.

And remember, backin the 1970s Idi Amin expelled the people of India from Uganda because they had control of the economy and had most of the shops.

Be careful what you wish for: the most likely candidate for a ‘Toba event’ right now is Yellowstone National Park.

The result would be curtains for the United States and Canada.

The kindest thing to do would be to expell ALL non_African Imperialist Colonialists and allow Africa to be the great Continent that it was before our intervention. They can go back to living the simple life they once knew.

Whatever it takes to upend Copenhagen is ok by me, but the Africans really just want more ‘rich country’ money, as if it would make a difference. Getting its political house and people in order would be a good start. Africa is rich with natural resources, yet a hell hole on earth. Have they ever had decent leadership, anywhere in Africa, beyond the village level ?

Moderator you may do as you wish but Sarah has taken a stand against Copenhagen admonishing Obama not to attend and has editorials calling global warming bunk along with several hundred Google links calling her a manmade global warming denier and has always disavowed MANMADE global warming, this poster has decided to smear her in this photoshop moment and associate her with known global warming loonies....for whatever his motive

usually it Romneybotism or Hucksteritis...

it's your call but at least now you know a lie is being perpetrated.

Berlin...I never dryrat...and have only called the mod maybe 4 times in 10 years but hey...you deserve it.
