I don’t think he is dumb as freepers think he is. He actually stumped an insurance lobbyist witness with the question how many personal bankruptcy occur in France due to medical bills. The lobbyists did not know or wasn’t sure so she went into the boilerplate response when the answer was none. What she should have pointed out to Sen Franken is that though there is no personal bankruptcies in socialist medical care, the Europeon system is facing bankruptcies as people live longer and the high taxes discourage large families which are required to keep the system financed.

You cannot seriously believe Franken does his own research and formulates his own questions, do you? These clowns, all od them have staff that hand them paperwork which they READ whe they are in session. This is exactly like Obambi does when he makes a speech.
