According to all reports Sen. Harry Reid has caved to Lieberman and will now cut out pretty much everything important to liberals in ObamaCare to get him on board and get this POS passed.
Reporting from Washington - Senate Democratic leaders, scrambling for the 60 votes they need to pass the healthcare overhaul bill, moved Monday to strike a controversial proposal for expanding Medicare and proceed without a new government insurance program, the so-called public option.
So now Reid needs to get to 60 votes to pull the public option crap out of the bill just to get it passed. But the hardcore Socialist amongst them is resisting. Specifically Burris, Franken, Brown, Feingold and Sanders.

I just heard on Glenn Beck that Lieberman has announced he will vote for the bill.
Democrats threw everything they could into the bill knowing most of it wouldn’t stick but with the hopes they could get the main thing they wanted......control over your health and your lives. The whole thing needs to be stopped.

If the liberals don’t like it, tough on them. They won’t vote against it because they want to stick it to the insurance companies. So Lieberman has killed off the liberal agenda, maybe for good. Who would have known back in 2000 that Joe Lieberman would be the person to sink the Democrats by blowing holes in their lifeboat.

Nelson says he is against the bill because it does not have the pro life provision. But what harm would it do if he voted in favor of ending the filibuster and then voting against the bill? Then he can have it both ways. In any case, if he votes to end debate and thus allows the bill to pass, they really had better go after him big time in 2012. Maybe he would even retire rather than face voters after this big sham.
The great part is we get to pay for this for 3 years before we get any benefit. THESE FINGING SCUM RATS!
If the demoRAT socialist commie pigs pass this POS, I hope the states (like Texas & Oklahoma & others) put their actions where their mouths are, and start seceding from the Union. A massive secession or patriots uprising and march on Washington to arrest & try these treasonous bastards is the only way to stop the socialist onslaught. It is now time for American Revolution II.
