“Two issues, gay marriage and healthcare, take him out of the American mainstream on both social and economic issues. (never mind being on the liberal side of the Republican party.) That alone should disqualify him for consideration. Don’t even have to get into his abortion flops and taxes.”
Agreed. I have more respect for politicians who I have disagreements with, but are at least honest and clear about what they stand for and why—and consistently stand by their views without hypocrisy. Mitt Romney is NOT one of those politicians, but is exactly the opposite.
Is that leadership, or what.
“Mitt lives in a neighborhood around 8 miles from me here in San Diego. Homes start in the millions, can go up to over 28 million.”
By contrast Palin’s house was built by the hands of Todd and his friends. During these tough times, I would think Americans would appreciate a candidate that understands the meaning of sacrifice and hard times and won’t seem disingenuous about it. Palin spent an extra year in college because she paid her entire way and had to return to Alaska to work jobs and make enough money before going back to school each semester. Palin has a son in the military, a child with Down’s Syndrome, a daughter who had an unexpected pregnancy—this is a woman that can most definitely RELATE to the REAL concerns of Americans and not just spew out economic policy rhetoric the way Romney does. Palin is no policy lightweight, she has the right worldview, and her record is more impressive.
Sarah Palin has 1,106,722 supporters on FaceBook as of this writing...
Mitt has 117,137 supporters there!
Alan Keyes has 6,799 supporters!
Simply unelectable
when Romney is shown on the front of Newsweek in his jogging shorts, then Sarah can start to worry. Until then, sounds like a ho hum book that will be ignored.
If Mittens wants to run, let him do it as a Democrat, since his ideology is much more closely aligned with theirs.
I thought the working title was "Going Rouge". :P
That has a Robert Palmer type sound to it. Ripe for a photoshop.
May be a bit embarassing for Mitt when it shows how few he attracts compared to Saracuda.
Yo Mitt, go back to birbing for the Olympics.
bad move, Mitt. this immediately puts you in the “me too” camp
not very presidential
Can you make one small change to that title?
I know that he already **is** a RINO, but it would really remind people how much of a Palin-wannabe that he is...
Im really going to camp out to meet that Putz
A clear chance for Mitt to find out the difference between Madame President and him....after her incredible book tour and people waiting in lines in the cold, I don’t think this is a good idea, because I don’t know anyone who will do that for him, and the papers are going to cream him when he fails to even be competitive with Sarah, in the form of people’s interest....do any of you know anyone excited about a book from Mitt Romney?
Ah, so Mitt’s going to have a “me too!” book signing campaign. How quaint.
Competing with Sarah? Good luck with that.
