WASHINGTON — Sen. Lindsey Graham on Tuesday praised President Barack Obama for heeding his advice to bypass the naval brig in Charleston, S.C., and transfer terror suspects instead to an Illinois prison from the U.S. military base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Graham, a South Carolina Republican, said he spoke with Obama recently and reiterated his strong opposition to moving the Guantanamo detainees to the medium-security brig at the Naval Weapons Station in Charleston.
"I spoke to the president about Charleston a couple weeks ago," Graham told McClatchy. "He listened intently as I said I thought Charleston is not an appropriate site for long-term detention. I made my best case. I appreciate the president hearing what I had to say."

A judge or a liberal/progressive federal judge will disagree with the government and try to let them go. If they are set free, the folks in that state will revolt.
Since Zero is determined to kill the Geneva Convention and encourage terrorism everywhere, Lindsey is right to step aside and let him and his cohorts take the blame.
Place scorn where it is deserved. It is Mr. Obama that is bringing the terrorist here where the Liberals can set them free upon us.

The problem is not which state these terrorists are brought to, Lindsey, but the fact that they’ll be brought into any of the 50 states.

We're stuck with Grahamensty until 2014. South Carolina does not have a mechanism for removing him from office. Hmmmm, maybe we should work on that.
Lindsey, I doubt nobama "heeded your advice." Most likely he was tolerating you while calculating the quickest way to get away from you. nobama is a Marxist scumbag but he's not stupid. Well, maybe some.

Graham supported closing Gitmo but is only now putting his foot down because terrorists are getting civilian trials.
He is a former JAG officer.
I dod not understand the mentality of Gitmo being closed to begin with. It makes no sense. It is a waste of money.
