I have to think that "touching people with both hands" would backfire as often as it exhibited some sort of sympathy or achieved some sort of dominance. I know I would immediately feel a strong antipathy toward anyone who pawed me in that manner. And it comes across as phony and manipulative.

When someone you aren’t close to reaches with both hands I always hesitate. They’ll drop that “domination” hand. Many will also reach to shake with a palm down hand. When they do that, hook your thumb in-between theirs and forefinger. It feels awfully weird when you do that and that whole “dominance” thing is momentarily forgotten. It also tells them “I’m not your bitch”.

Appropos of all this creepy zero stuff. I am CONVINCED that his speech patterns changed between 2004 and the present. When you hear tapes of him speaking from back then, he sounded halfway normal. Now, he’s got that creepy, hesitating, reverb, semi-ghetto thing going on. I bet he had coaches and handlers that taught all this stuff, Manchurian candidate style. At least that’s how it appears to me.
