EVEN IF we adopted 100% of the watermelon’s agenda, turning the US and most of Europe into turd world countries, they admit that it will lower global warming by only small fractions of one degree.
But, won't that nicely offset the non-existent anthropological global warming that has been occurring.
I am so tired of the liberals trying to scare me to death. In the fifties, I was supposed to be afraid of nuclear winter. In the 60's, I was treated to liberals being shot and killed, and thus must fear guns. In the 70's, I feared Viet Nam and Global Cooling and Overpopulation and Pesticides. I can't remember the 80's (too exhausted from the fears in the 70's), but in the ninities this Global Warming nonsense became my fear. Now I am supposed to fear climate change. Well guess what I fear CHANGE now.
The initial report of the IPCC had the numbers:
1) IPCC sez it takes 1 trillion tons (1,000 billion) of CO2 to raise the temperature of the earth by 1 degree F
2) IPCC sez total human produced CO2 each year is 33 billion tons.
3) my calculator sez 1 trillion tons divided by 33 billion tons per year equals 33 years. In other words, to reduce the temperature of the earth by 1 degree F, all humans would have to emit no CO2 -— i.e., be reduced to pre-stoneage culture (no tractors to produce food, no transportation of food to cities, no electricity, not even fire to keep warm in your cave at night) for 33 YEARS.
Anything less is irrelevant.
