Sarah Palin cuts vacation short
Politico ^ | December 17, 2009 | Mike Allen

Sarah Palin announced Thursday night that she ended a Hawaii vacation early because of the ruckus raised after she blacked out "McCain" on her sun visor in an effort to elude paparazzi.

~~snip~~

"Todd and I have since cut our vacation short because the incognito attempts didn't work and fellow vacationers were bothered for the two days we spent in the sun. So much for trying to go incognito."

Sarah's learning that she'll be under the microscope no matter where she goes or what she does.

As for blacking out any reference to McKennedy....go for it.

That guy is not worth the flies it’d take to eat him.

She needs to find more private vacation spots. And not whine, as well.

I don’t call that whining, but she might very well want to cut down on her use of social media like Facebook, Twitter, etc. Too much potential for shots from those who don’t wish her well.

I agree. she has been doing so well lately, but this was a pointless mistake. She is a major figure now and needs to find more secluded spots if she wants to get away. I know she and her family would prefer to stay in ‘normal’ hotels and be a normal person, but she is choosing to be a major figure and needs to adjust her private time to accommodate that change.

Hopefully she'll find some DECENT advisors on how to live with a modicum of privacy successfully, although she & her family have been thrust into public prominance.

And Sarah -- it's time to buy NEW sun visors, bereft of political markings.

I’m a fight to the death Palin supporter, and even though she may not have meant it to look like she’s whining... it does, and that’s a good thing.

It was the lack of privacy after she was found out, not the hat.

Of all the words in the world I have heard, these may be the saddest:

Todd saw her first. (Sigh.)

The media is full of retards. Kevin Jennings is not controversial at all, of course.

Lets see....

Sarah goes on vacation to Hawaii and gets blasted for a silly hat.

Obama went on a Hawaiian vacation to deep six his birth records and finally hold a funeral for some typical white person. Yet he’s the Messiah.

Go figger.

Pointless mistake? Well, there's a turn of a phrase...

Kinda like me cutting off the "Maverick" from my Maverick / Barracuda bumper sticker the day after election.

I see no mistake or down side from getting as much distance as possible from that looney loser, McQueeg.

If Sarah would throw McLame under the bus, it would help disguise here neo-con overtures.
