It would be good to have the seat go to a Republican, perhaps, but the analogy to Lexington & Concord or a Second American Revolution is a stretch.

Ok, maybe it's a stretch, but I am trying to illustrate a point. The Kennedy seat is considered a lost cause, but I can tell you that there are a lot of true conservatives up here who have simply felt locked out of the process for decades.

This election is an opportunity to change that, and show the willingness to take on a lost cause and win.

Is Brown perfect? No. However, his website does say he supports the Second Amendment, that he believes marriage is between a man and a woman, and he supports the death penalty. For Massachusetts, that ain't too bad. Martha Coakley on the other hand is as radical left as they come, and her record as Middlesex D.A. is disgraceful. She would be really bad news. In fact, Brown has filed an ethics complaint against Coakley charging that she used state resources to rally SEIU volunteer support.
