Bill Moyers is a leech. He has been operating on the taxpayers’ dime practically his entire life. He is paid several hundred thousands dollars a year by NPR and its “sponsors,” but he also owns the production company that makes his shows, and has made millions selling the tapes. The money goes straight into his own, personal pocket, and that of his son, who he has set up as a “producer” in PBS-style nepotism. PBS doesn’t get a cut. Moyers, in essence, used taxpayers’ money to build a substantial fortune for himself and his family. Not illegal, but definitely cynical and hypocritical. Everyone who knows anything about his career knows he is a liar. And we are paying him a lot to lie on PBS.

And we believe that if we’re paying for it on PBS, because we do pay part of Moyers’ salary. And as you pointed out, he has a production company that gets his tapes when he puts them on PBS and sells them. And that money goes into his pocket, and he doesn’t pay his employees health insurance. He’s a real swell guy, this Moyers.

Thank you for this post. Somehow this interview needs to be publicized. Here are two “journalists” using every socialist, liberal, progressive expression as normal English and Moyers, being who he is, never blinks. These people are fools, disengenious, dreamers and liars who cannot, will not see either truth or reality. How then can they recognize or report on it?

MATT TAIBBI: Yeah, and this was Howard Dean's point this week was that this individual mandate that's going to force people to become customers of private health insurance companies, the Democrats are going to end up owning that policy and it's going to be extremely unpopular and it's going to be theirs for a generation.
