I looked everyone but didn't see this mentioned, so floating this out there hoping other, more influential people can help implement the following idea:
The Health-care bill will be going to conference where they must appease the House (Stupak & others) while maintaining all 60 votes in the Senate. So I think the key to stopping this at this point is lies with creating a division between the liberals. Why don't we call/write/e-mail/phone the Democrat Reps. to put more pressure on them.
Not necessairly to tell them the plan is bad (we have to assume they will just ignore these calls) but that you can't accept the Senate version of the "Cadillac tax" or you can go "lack of public option" or "no funding of abortions" etc. This may influence and make the Dems dig in and less likely to craft a final bill that will pass either chamber.
You can even ping pong (call your House rep. and say no "cadillac" but then call your Senator and say "no surtax on the wealthy"
For example: I can call my Democratic Rep. Carol Shea-Porter (ugh) and tell her to vote no and I can't support a tax on existing health care insurance policies. While I can also call Sen. Jeanne Shaheen and tell her I will not support and not vote for her in the future if their is an extra tax to on high income earners.
You may have to argue against what you believe in, but just like how many FReepers voted for Hillary to try and defeat Obama in the Democrat primaries, this may help us achieve our goal of stopping/killing Obamacare. Don't let the mainstream media tell you it is a done deal, we can still try to stop this thing!
Thoughts?
I believe any liberal who does not vote for this who is up for election will get back in. The others are toast!
In truth, I don't think anyone knows what has been voted for in its entirety, nor do they care.
Call, fax, email? Sorry pal, but that does NOT work! These sorry ass traitors do not care what we think.
What they will understand is an armed revolution. And that is what they will get. It’s way past time.
You don’t need to sabbotage it. It won’t work anyway.
How about this “I’m gonna run up a couple billion in medical care for myself!”
Operation Chaos. Attack behind the lines. The art of deception against the deceptors.
You think that this bill is leftist, wait till they reconcile with the (more liberal) House bill with a public option and all. There will come a day when we view the Senate bill as the moderate bill.
I heard today that Pelosi will not allow the bill to go to conference. No more input allowed.
Who are you to question the royalty? sarcasm
The harsh reality is that your elected officials do not care what their constituents think. All they care about is locking the liberals into power - forever. The sooner we accept this, the sooner we can get on with the revolution!

Won’t the senate just need a majority - 51 votes - when the bill comes back to the senate?
Patriots had a chance to sack DC for the last 6 mos, and instead we made phone calls.
They despise us, they want some of us dead and need the earnings from the rest of us.
They won because they do not fear us, as we do them.
The bill will not go to conference. Pelosi will rubber stamp the Senate bill, knowing they can tweak it down the road.
And only 218 in the House.
It will never go to conference but will be accepted by the House in total. They know they will be able to 'modify' the contents later with add ons to other legislation. The plan is to get this onerous piece of dung signed.
Depends on the district. For instance, I can’t see Nasty Pelosi or Maxine Waters EVER being bounced out. They’re in for life.
Harry Reid on the other hand...
