The bill to watch will come from Sen. Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.), chairman of the Senate Immigration Subcommittee. Schumer, who has been working with Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), has already set out principles for reform that include rigorous workplace and border enforcement, a realistic assessment of the nation's need for skilled and unskilled labor, a commitment to controlling the future flow of illegal immigration and bringing millions of people away from the edges of society. The Schumer-Graham proposals have promise; we hope 2010 will see the immigration reform the nation so badly needs.

No real republican would have anything to do with Schumer!
The likes of graham and schumer try once again to foist this b.s. upon us they should be hung for trying along with all who try.
Get a rope.
Come on SC Time to retire this pig!!!!
Graham is too stupid to realize he is getting played like a fiddle. When illegal immigrants get voting rights they damn sure won’t vote for him...nor will their lobby support any Republican.
McCain—the leading La Raza mouthpiece in the Senate failed to get the support of the amnesty advocates he’s supported for years.
Graham is stupid.
Civil War 2
The Democrats are now in the process of coalescing power;
twenty million additional voters will make their hold on the levers permanent.
IMHO
Yep
IMHO also.
Question..
If the primary reason for turning our head to the flow of illegals is our need for unskilled workers (which we don’t) then why the push to get them and their offspring into higher education?
That would seem to defeat the ‘unskilled’ purpose.
What we need is an incentive to get the lazy welfare recipients off the rolls and working.
Step 2, it’s all in their plan.
I for one do not miss that miserable POS.I wonder just how hot is it for the senator these days?
It’s all about destroying America as we know it. The One World traitors are determined and it is becoming obvious that the U.S. Government is working toward that end.
George W. Bush and the Republican Party leadership joined Ted Kennedy, the open borders crowd and the Democratic Party to force amnesty on the American people.
They are, with a few exceptons, a bunch of traitors. Things are getting uglier every day and the people are being forced into a response that may wind up with blood in the streets.
What a piece of garbage Lindsay Graham is. You can’t turn on the TV now without seeing this dirt ball talking tough and sounding like a conservative.
I just wonder what is wrong with the people in South Carolina. How could they have reelected this guy?
Next step in their plan is to shore up their voter base...here it comes.
“twenty million additional voters will make their hold on the levers permanent.”
The illegals are already voting, and most of these votes are in liberal states like California and New York. They’re also drawing free health care, workmen’s comp, unemployment benefits and free education.
How will adding 20 million illegals to voter rolls in liberal states make a diffderence? I’m more concerned about the liberal pigs committing voter fraud now, such as 110% of all voters in a district voting. Clue me in and tell me where my logic falls apart.
It falls to us to man polling places and become polling judges to expose and turn away illegal voting now.
“Ted Kennedy; sober for three months now... “
They might serve Chivas in hell.
We don’t need immigration reform. We need enforcement reform.
