Dallas Morning News: The state received millions of federal dollars from the economic-stimulus package to help poor Texans cut their energy bills, but by the end of last month, just seven homes had been weather-treated under the program. The state has spent $1.8 million of $163 million available over the past four months, with most of it going to administrative costs, such as the salaries of state workers.

Rather than spending obscene amounts of money on the HIGHLY limited returns in “improving energy efficiency”, we should be taking advantage of the bounty of natural energy sources available, literally at our fingertips.

In other words, simply Drill, Baby, Drill.

Just goes to show ya that most of Obama’s stimulus jobs are merely a photo op. Nothing more than smoke, mirrors and diversion.

Phhhht! How's that supposed to stimulate anything?

$700, might help your local hardware store; $7,000 may stimulate the caulk salesman to buy a new car.

$70,000 might stimulate you to look for a second or third job.

However, $300,000 in public funds 'worth' of caulking per house, now THAT stimulates happy dances in the kickbakees' reelection fund accountants!

Goodhair is the governor in Texas’s weak-governor system. Does he have any control of federal funds? [If it’s his fault, sock it to him. If not, then let’s not sling mud.]

RAT corruption has no limits. We The People must limit their access to our government come November.

All this data must be put into campaign ads to destroy the RATs and RINOs. The GOP doesn’t have the gonads to fight the upcoming election “war” so Freepers keep this information handy to be used against these domestic thieves in the next couple of months. Start exposing these outrages and the perps now. Use every shred of evidence against them.

Well, aren't you special? Guess what-- he's my governor, too. What do you do when your mud sticks where and when it shouldn't? Talk is cheap, particularly the unfounded variety you seem to deal in.
[Excuse me if I misunderstand your flip response. You reap what you sow.]
