Poll: Obama still very popular among African-Americans, but 'thrill is gone'
Chicken Noodle News (CNN) ^ | December 29, 2009

African-Americans are extremely supportive of President Obama, but their enthusiasm appears to have dramatically dropped from earlier this year, according to a new national poll.

The CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey, released Tuesday, also indicates that Obama's presidency appears to have made blacks more optimistic about race relations, but less than one in five believe the new president has ushered in a new era of race relations in the country.

More than nine in 10 blacks questioned in the poll approve of the job Obama's doing in the White House, far higher than 42 percent of whites who approve of his performance as president.

But when asked how they personally feel about Obama's presidency, only 42 percent of black respondents say they're thrilled, with nearly half of those questioned saying they are happy but not thrilled.

The 42 percent who are thrilled is down from 61 percent in January, when Obama was inaugurated.

[CNN Polling Director Keating Holland] added, "Not surprisingly, whites are less supportive of Obama, although for a notable number of whites, their negative view of the president is due to the perception that he's not been liberal enough."

The CNN/Opinion Research Corporation poll was conducted December 16-20, with 1,160 adult Americans, including 259 African-Americans and 786 whites, questioned by telephone.

Perhaps the follow up question should’ve been why they support him?

It seems like Michael Jackson might have at least had talent once, although I can’t say I was a fan.

I wonder when they will finally realize that the two places Obama has directed federal funding for abortions are Washington, DC (90% African-American) and Africa (100% African). Margaret Sanger would be thrilled at this kind of racial genocide.

*******************************

Total disconnect there. I asked a female black teenager if she supports abortion and she said yes. Asked her if she’s a Democrat and she said yes. I told her 1 million abortions happen a year, and 2/3 are black babies and the Democrat party supports abortion.

If I remember right the final question: do you still support the Democrat party?

her answer was: I support abortion.

It won’t matter. To change one’s opinion, one must change one’s mind. obams worshipers and disciples do not have a mind to change.

I still believe that about 10% - 15% of all “black” votes are fraudulent.

While there is no doubt that most blacks voted for someone that halfway looks like them, the voting percentages simply do not pass any statistical analysis.

Walking around money, new roofs on church (and a donation for a “revival”), multiple votes and absentee voting fraud among the elderly or disabled are just the first issues that come to mind.

All these distort the numbers until it looks like 90+% of blacks voted for Obama.

The USA is simply not that monolithic in group thought.

Mariner, I’m a Sacratomato homeowner and I still see tons of Obama stickers, too, even the next-level obnoxious “Yes we Did” stickers. And those stateworker signs that we paid for, adorning front lawns. Shameless or oblivious or both.

There are no Obama stickers. And....if Black Americans are wise, they will throw Obama and his entire ilk under the bus as soon as possible. POTUS Obama is a total failure, and his failure will be an unending negative stain on Black Americans if they do not get rid of this incompetent and empty suit POTUS who sports a huge ego, but little else in capability. It is really a crying shame, because there are millions of talented, dedicated, intelligent and successful American Blacks that could lead if called upon. Sadly Barack Hussein Obama is not one of them. The sooner American Blacks grasp this fact, the better off they will be.

You can find the “THRILL” up Chrissy Matthews leg, maybe even higher.

B.B. King singing “The Thrill is Gone”

Michael Jackson is ripping up album covers of “Thriller”

and “Thriller Theater” is gone.

Obie’s 3 for 3.

Nonsense, he must have gotten 98 or 99 percent of the black vote in 2008, and in 2012, he will get no less than 97 percent if not more. This is a controlled vote.

The American people are strongly pro-abort or at best unconcerned too for they have been electing many pro-abort candidates since 1973.

Good post, but they can't see beyond the mirror. They will always idolize Obama. He is their favorite celebrity for all time. The Clintons had to move over, and I thought they would never tire of the Clintons.
