HOUSTON - FOX 26 is following up on reports that a Nigerian man accused in the failed Christmas Day plane bombing was in Houston during the summer of 2008.
A local Islamic education center here is looking into whether Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab took any instruction at its facility.
Irtiza Hasan, chairman of the board with the Al Maghrib Institute, says that they are checking their records to determine if the suspect actually attended any of their classes, but employees in the registrar's office are off for the holdiays. The institute holds classes at various universities and hotels nationwide.

It wouldn’t surprise me if this guy was a students in one of BO’s classes.
No doubt he went to a few Obama rallies, and even voted for him, with the help of Acorn of course.
Given that Barack is somewhat common muslim/arab name, as well a Obama to a lesser extent, I keep waiting for one of these guys to eventually have the same name as the President. That’ll be fun.
