Republican candidates start the year by opening a nine-point lead over Democrats, the GOP's biggest in several years, in the latest edition of the Generic Congressional Ballot.
The new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows that 44% would vote for their districts Republican congressional candidate while 35% would opt for his or her Democratic opponent.

More than one-third of American voters are idiots?
More good news from Rasmussen. This should really upset the far left.
They will just claim that Ras is an incompetent partisan hack.
Remember when Freepers were claiming Rasmussen was a left-wing shill when his polls consistently showed McCain trailing Obama?
yup!
Does that surprise you?
The Republican gains began in February when Republicans in the House unanimously opposed the $787-billion economic stimulus plan proposed by the president and ocngressional Democrats.

Something has to change and it needs to change soon.

They had enough to throw 1 mil at a left wing shill in NY 32 though.
If it were only a third I would be so happy.
Ping!!!
There is a residual lot of 'Rat addicts out there, who persist in irrational behavior harmful to themselves, their children and their grandchildren. Being a 'Rat is not determined intellectually in many cases, it's just a knee-jerk habit all too often passed down generation to generation.
These numbers need to be looked at. Keep in mind that at the beginning of the year the Dems were flying high and raised huge amounts of cash when Bozos numbers were sky high and most of the population was still under the ether.
But look at the latest numbers showing cash raised in November and then at over all net cash after debt. As an example the RNC has out raised the DNC by $500,000 for the month of Nov and about 1.5 million for the year, PLUS the DNC has debt of 5 million while the RNC owes nothing.
Right now the Rep are pretty handily out raising the Dems and I expect this to continue into the Fall.
Democratic National Committee:
Raised in November: $5.9 million
Year-to-date fundraising: $79.3 million
Cash on hand: $13.2 million

"I can't give a number [of seats the GOP will win] yet, because like I said, we're just now beginning to look at the races," Steele said. Asked if GOPers will take back the House, Steele confessed: "Not this year."
"... but then the question we need to ask ourselves is: If we do that, are we ready?" [ie: to lead and govern]
In fact, when Hannity followed up on the point, Steele said he doesn't know if the GOP is ready to take back the reins of power.
He wanted his balls back from his wife this year to come in 3rd in the Penn Senate primary but she could read the tea leaves and told him to leave his skirt on.

++++++++++++++++
The squishy middle somehow distinguish between the hard left, like Obama, and those that just willingly pass his lapdog’s bidding, like all RATS. Like Palin, we need to sharpen our message.
More good news from Rasmussen. This should really upset the far left.

The RATS don’t have enough power...they will slam Rasmussen as a Republican lackie.
