While talking to a staffer in DC, I found out that John Garamendi will be holding an open house at his new office in Walnut Creek tomorrow. This could be an opportunity to ask polite questions of our new representative in the 10th district about what our Congress has planned for our nation.

I think I’ll show up.
Ask him if the Constitution places any limits on the legislation that Congress can pass.
If yes, please identify what those limits are, and does a law mandating people purchase approved health insurance fall within those limits.
If not, then are you saying Congress can pass any law about anything, as long it supports “the general welfare”? And are the 9th and 10th Amendments to the Constitution just so much hot air, because they state that powers not specifically given to the Federal Government are reserved to the States and the People?
Shoot!! I have to take care of my niece ;(
Well good luck :D Either way I sorta live far from Walnut Creek
