Ah, the “Caroline Effect!” a leading contender until she actually opens her mouth and says something.

If he can get a good percentage of the female and homo vote in Mass, he'll be a shoo-in.

It would be send such a message if a Republican could take Teddy’s Senate seat. It would give the Libs the biggest hissy fit since Bush won the 2000 election. They would not stop bemoaning the Kennedy legacy.

RGB....

I went back and re-read what you said. It is profound, beyond your wildest dreams.

If Scott wins this, does this esentially yield a death nell blow to (metaphorically) the Kennedy Liberalism Legacy ( progressivism ) that has hung over us since the early 60s.

Brown can run with a JFK film clip, but JFK unless I am wrong, JFK was the brainchild of unionized federal workers and the Great Society, LBJ just go it going. Ted kept it going forever. Everything Ted did was a disaster for this country. This would Metaphorically put it to bed. Wow that is huge.

Ironic his Waitress Sandwich buddy Dodd is leaving.

Now we know the REAL reason Dodd is retiring. Hey, Chris, don't let the door hit your ass too hard on the way out.

Clueless. If elected, she will just be a puppet for the libdems. Tell her to just shut up and tell her how to vote.

You say - “If it were any state other than Mass I would worry about Snowe or Collins voting with the Dems from time to time, but a GOP win in Mass would give the Maine sens pause before being enticed by the dark side. “

Snowe may have played fox in the hen house on this one - she got into the locked door meetings, because the Rats thought they had her on their side, which enabled her to find out just what was going on - listen carefully to what she says in this video -

I actually think JFK was a good President. I think his death really unhinged Bobby Kennedy. Teddy was probably unhinged from being the pudgy little brother who couldn’t. In fact, it wouldn’t surprise me if the Progressives had JFK killed for not staying on the reservation. After all, Lee Harvey was a leftist. Who knows?

Back in the 70s, there was an obscure movie named “Winter Kills”. It was about a Kennedy-like character whose brother was assassinated as POTUS. It conjectured that the person who really ordered JFK’s assasination was his Dad (Joseph Kennedy). Truth is often stranger than fiction.

The Dems could run a blow up doll and it would probably win in MA.

You mean like Barney Frank?

I was living in Mass. during those years. I always suspicioned that.

I feel hope, albeit slight, but hope that Brown is going to pull this off. If it wasn't for ObamaCare, he'd be getting blown away - this will be as close to a vote for or against ObamaCare we the people get.

It's going to be close either way. Perhaps there will be enough idiots that vote for the Kennedy candidate that “x” votes are taken away from Croakley providing SB with his margin of victory.

That would be Divine Intervention!!!!!!

It’s pretty amazing. With the exception of 1996, the state hasn’t had a competitive Senate race in many years.

McGrory: Where’s Martha Coakley?

http://www.boston.com/news/local/breaking_news/2010/01/brian_mcgrory_w.html?comments=all&plckCurrentPage=7

I read this column in the Boston Globe online. What was interesting was the comments section. It was really anti-Coakley. The commenters don’t seem like organized bots, ala Obamabots. Is this truly the mood in MA? Are voters really fed up? Is Massachussets finally opening its eyes? What is your opinion?

Yes, I say 50/50 Brown wins. This is a vote against ObamaCare. The older folks I’ve spoken too are PISSED off about Medicare cuts.

Plus Croakley has the personality of a used sheet of fabric softener, which doesn’t help her.
