The market is distorted by legislation that creates a perverse incentive to divert production to biofuels. Remove those perverse incentives and the market will head in the right direction.

The ethanol incentives are aimed at US producers, there are huge swaths of globe that also produce grains that have no indigineious Ethanol mandates.

Russia, Austrailia, Ukraine etc, the market is not meeting demand, or those starving are simply to impoverished to purchase food.
