"the dirty secret is a loathing of Obama by a LOT of voters"

I believe you are right. But the Dems are in deep denial about the rejection of Obama AND his socialist policies. Amazingly, they have somehow managed to convince themselves that this is only "an isolated extremist" point of view.

People not only dislike his policies, they don't like him either.

When discussing poll numbers about how people feel about this administration, the media may concede that "people don't like his policies" but they always quickly add "but people like him personally". Why do they feel the need to do that?

To me, he comes across as incredibly arrogant and condescending, and barely conceals his loathing and disdain for America and her people. One cannot really feel that way and successfully hide it for long.

The facade is crumbling.

Voters' loathing has never been more apparent. And understandably so.

They have endured the insolence of Ohaha, Bwaney Fwank, Pelosi, and Harry Reid as they sneered at tea partiers......and saw the condescending attitudes to anyone who dared oppose the healthcare atrocity.

Now these officeholders must bear the brunt of voters' discontent.
