It’s so ironic. Classic liberalism proclaimed freedom for the people in response to the concept that it was the biologic, hereditary monarchy who knew what was best for the people. Now, modern day liberalism claims the intellectual, monarchist elite knows best.

Now, modern day liberalism claims the intellectual, monarchist elite knows best.I've been noticing the last few years they've been trying to get away from the "liberal" label and they've been calling themselves "progressives". Thanks to people like Glenn Beck we're learning what that term really means.
