I had a thought in the shower this AM. (oh, don't even go there)... The feds are in charge of the IRS, and we need CPAs, Turbo Tax, H&R Block, and similar companies to help us with our taxes.

Does anyone doubt that if the feds get control of our health care it won't be long before we need similar professional help filling out health care forms, making plan elections, heck, even to get basic services we may need "Turbo Helthcare" etc. Insurance, including health care insurance, is already complex enough. Does anyone think adding federal bureaucracy will make it better?

Hell.....I already do! I hate filing claims — I understand so little of it and I’m sure I lose money.

Exactly, people need to be reminded of this while they're getting their tax forms together. Remember the Income Tax started out only hitting the top 2% of the country. I read somewhere that during the debates on passing the 16th amendment someone asked the question what's to prevent them from ratcheting it up to as high as 20%. The answer was to the effect that , who would ever dare raise it to such a confiscatory amount as 20%. This was 1913, fast forward to today and most of us wish all they took out was 20%.
