Brown Already Recording Robo-Call For McCain
TPM ^ | January 20, 2010 | Rachel Slajda

Sen.-elect Scott Brown (R-MA), who won his seat in last night's special election, has already recorded a robo-call for Sen. John McCain's (R-AZ) re-election campaign.

Brown's campaign confirmed that he recorded the call, which asks voters to call McCain and thank him for supporting Brown. The number goes to Friends of John McCain, the senator's campaign.

McCain is facing an election this November. He may also find himself vulnerable in the Republican primary if the more conservative J.D. Hayworth challenges him.

A reader from Arizona who received the call tells us that Brown praises McCain for supporting him when no one else would. Brown also says he's ready to go to Washington and fight against a government takeover of health care.

McCain the Traitor is using Scott Brown and Sarah Palin to scare off J D Hayworth. John, you will rot in hell.

Didn’t Senator McCain aid him in his recent successful campaign? We call that loyalty where I come from.

Not surprising given mention of McCain in the victory speech.

It’s the people’s seat of AZ, not McCain’s.

It won’t save McCain, I think they know that.

McCain is going down.

Scott's first mistake as U.S. Senator.

Great. Another RINO loyalist. Perhaps Brown and McCain can start a new Gang of 9, or 15, or whatever number is needed to roll over for the Democrats.

Maybe we can co-opt AZ liberals to help us make McCain and Brown look bad by voting for JD in the primary.

Also got the call today. Funny thing was, I was out at the library where there was a woman at a table outside collecting signatures for various Republican candidates to get them on the ballot.

The last one was McCain and when I told her I wouldn’t sign that one she said she’d had quite a few people before me who also signed for everyone else but would not do so for him.

Then I get home and have message from Brown praising McCain.

Made me shake my head a little.

Its called Clout, and right now Brown has it. He is at the top of the wave and for him, who we can't even call a Junior Senator yet to be asked to campaign for a Senior Senator is an amazing accomplishment. I'm giving him credit for having that kind of influence, not pointing fingers saying “see a Rino”.

McCain the Traitor is using Scott Brown and Sarah Palin to scare off J D Hayworth.
:::::::::
McCain has a track record he would like to shovel much dirt to cover up. Pro-amnesty, McCain-Feingold, and the list goes on. McCain is worried about Hayworth or any other CONSERVATIVE right now. Arizona lost a lot when they lost Hayworth and I bet many in Arizona would agree....

BTW, I think McCain-Feingold is coming up for a “tear down” by the SCOTUS soon. Long over due. That bill was an anti-Repub bill from the start and McCain knows it.

I heard on the news last night that Senator McCain told Scott that he could win. So, apparently, John McCain had some sort of input.

I always just hang up on those robo-calls anyway. I think they are a stupid tactic, I don’t care who is calling.

I despise the man John McCain has become in office, but having said that: If someone helped you to gain a US Senate seat, you’d deny them support the next day? Remind me not to help you run for office.
