Expanding support for families balancing work with caring for elderly relatives with a $102.5 million Caregiver Initiative adding $52.5 million in funding to Department of Health and Human Services caregiver support programs that provide temporary respite care, counseling, training, and referrals to critical services. The administration says the extra funding will allow nearly 200,000 additional caregivers to be served and 3 million more hours of respite care to be provided. It also adds $50 million to programs that provide transportation help, adult day care, and in-home services, such as aides to help seniors bathe and cook, help which eases the burden for family members and helps seniors stay in their homes.

If you read the progressive rag Mother Jones perhaps you are on the wrong forum.
The point about the commie rag was that even it was reporting the SS and Medicare cut and gut. I found the article while researching the SS/Medicare/Tricare stuff. Other than reading the article, I have no use for the commie rag.
I worked both GW's campaigns, and one of our local GOP state Senator's. Carried signs in demo's after the FL junk, here in Memphis.
I'm one of those right wing nuts clinging to my gun (after all I live in Memphis one of the highest crime cities in the USA), tax hating, pro-life, holy rollers the left hates and calls Neanderthals (our former governor sund(tax)quist (rino)called us that when we stormed the capitol to prevent a unconstitutional state income tax from becoming law. I've done my time in the trenches of conservatism.
