Love to have some Texas freepers explain this one to me.

Rino vs Rino?

A little more rino vs a little less rino?

Who should we support?

Does the #3 in the race have a chance or will she just take away votes from the lesser of the 2 rinos?

Any info you can give appreciated!

No, quite the opposite. A vote for Medina makes it more likely that this goes to a run-off in April. If no candidate gets 50% it goes to a run-off. The last Rasmussen poll had Perry 43%, KBH 33%, and Medina 12%. Medina’s support tripled after the last debate, making it more than likely that a run-off will happen.

Perry would have to get an abnormally large share of the undecideds to avoid a run-off. A Medina-Perry run-off would be very interesting. I’m voting for the best candidate, and that’s neither of the 2 RINOs, it’s Debra Medina!

I’m (currently) voting Medina. She’s an unknown quantity, but the known quantity of the other 2 makes me want to gag.

Once again we’re having to vote lesser of 3 evils.

Good for you for voting on principle! Make sure all your friends know that a vote for Medina is not a “wasted” vote as so many think. Very few people are aware that a run-off is even possible. A vote for Medina, is a vote for a run-off!

By the way, I don’t see her as an “evil” type of candidate. I see her as a strict constitutionalist, pro-life, gun-loving, republican.

Yep, Medina for real, or hold your nose and vote Perry. But KBH is a liberal.

Just watched the debate. I'm voting Medina on March 2.

Medina was clearly the winner tonight, IMO of course. She was the only one to actually give an answer to any of the questions!!! The questions were generally awful, but Medina did a great job of clearly stating what she stands for, and that is individual freedom and prosperity.

I’m also voting for Medina, to vote for either cap’n goodhair or kay bailout is just sitting back and accepting more of the same.

Debra Medina all the way. I’ve been waiting my entire adult life to have someone like her to vote for. The Medina-mania I’m sensing in my conservative neck of the woods is like nothing I’ve experienced in Texas politics before... and it’s amazing to see new people every day jump on the Medina bandwagon. Now granted... I don’t live in the most cosmopolitan county in my state... but it would not shock me if Debra Medina finished first place amongst the candidates in my county come March 2nd.

While the following is largely meaningless anecdotal evidence given the small sample size... in the half hour today I spent at our local Republican Party Headquarters the only person who came in looking for a campaign sign wanted a Medina one... and then he started telling us about other people who wanted Medina signs also.
