After you rule out spending freezes and big reductions to defense, Social Security, Medicare and other big-ticket "nondiscretionary" items, what is there left to cut from the federal budget?

He keeps saying that the big problem is the enormous deficit spending under Bush. And that's why he needs to create a $1.5T deficit next year. Huh?
He keeps saying that we need to reduce spending. And that's why he wants to provide health care coverage for an additional 10 million people. Huh?
He keeps saying he wants to create jobs. And that's why he has created the most chaotic business environment imaginable, where any businessman can be unexpectedly penalized for just about anything a government bureaucrat dreams up.
The only people who think that these are viable strategies are Stupid People.
The headline is so misleading. Saving $727,000 on a $3.8 trillion budget is like saving a handful change every ten years.
