Actually, when I had History classes in school, the teacher always got behind the schedule and we never learned the later stuff.

I took US history 4 times, never got past World War I. But it’s the early part through the civil war which seems most important to me. To start in 1877 is ridiculous. The 20th century and current events need to be given more class time.
