Fewer registered voters nationwide -- 44% -- currently approve of President Barack Obama’s job performance than disapprove -- 47%. When Marist last asked about the president’s approval rating in December, 46% thought well of Obama’s job performance while 44% gave him low marks. Perhaps, particularly concerning for Mr. Obama is the drop in support among Independents. For the first time since taking office, a majority of Independents -- 57% -- disapproves of how he is doing in the role. 29% approve, and 14% are unsure.

Twice as many independents disapprove of the socialist as approve. If we can make the 2010 election national, his coattails should help every patriot in the country. This will not be a good year for the Dems.
Registered voters are never a snapshot of the general disapproval/approval across the country. Registered voters always give Obama higher marks than lively voters. Just saying. I believe Rasmussen has Zero at -15 or thereabouts.
Oh wow, that is really bad news for 0. That is a leans left polling outfit.
I suspect anyone answering this poll who strongly disapproves would answer just disapprove.

The whole strongly disapprove/approve thing is pretty stupid. I don’t pay much attention to that at Ras, just his overall approval.
This poll is 44/47 for registered voters, Rassmussen is 46/53 for likely voters. At this rare moment in time, the two polls seem fairly in line.
Obama commands Dems to double down. Meanwhile, he’ll need a few good scapegoats, a face for the opposition to lampoon, and a small war to divert attention. Look for a Bay of Pigs thing to occur before 2010 elections—small not too messy but because he’s inexperienced it quickly gets out of hand.
That’s the historical record of Obama’s personality type.
Why would ANY Freeper care what a MARXIST poll says? ;-)
When the Marxist poll (and NPR btw), show him below 50%....you know he is in trouble. :)
Because its clear that Marist is no longer covering for him, at this time. That is interesting.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 26% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove which gives Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -15
Sorry. Today’s Rasmussen has Zero at a -15.

Overall, 46% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. Fifty-four percent (54%) now disapprove.
You're reading Strongly approved vs. Strongly disapproved. What you want to do is look at overall approval.... Its called looking at apples vs. apples
The :”Marxists” (ie Marist) are disappointed in Obamacommie for not delivering on his promised statism. They are bailing on protecting him, and I find that interesting. Apparently youre a bit too cynical to find that interesting.
