There is a critical narrative that has yet to be written. It has to do with the real reason for the housing bubble, the corruption at Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac and Federal Government's facilitation of that corruption. That narrative cannot be written by anyone who has been in the national spotlight since Bush's attempt to reign in the players. They have lost the moral authority to address that subject.

As far as I can tell, Sarah Palin is the only national figure with both the moral authority and platform to educate the American public on the real reasons our economy is where it is. I hope she can pull it off.

she is very sweet. And that's why the left hates her so viciously. They want republicans to look like ugly curmudgeons. But this is what they have to offer:

Don't forget how illegal immigration has totally stripped our healthcare funds in virtually every state. But, oops, can she mention that while campaigning with Juan?

The mayor of San Francisco in 1966 was a Republican? What a different world that was.

Excellent point GBC. Until the actual cause of our economic woe is addressed, i.e., political corruption mostly on the Left and their brown shirts, the Marxist Community Organizations, we will not be able to correct the problems. That is why the Tea Party has become a force! Many Americans know the root cause but have not had the power to address the perps. Hopefully we will make our voices heard in Nov!

(1) unabashedly but politely criticizes President Obama where it hurts him most; and, (2) eye-catchingly articulates the central values and objectives of the about 60 percent of the public that views the current administration's actions with slack-jawed horror and fear.

That is Sarah Palin.

The American people have had a belly full of new ideas in the last year. The next winning politician and party will only have to offer two "new ideas": Stop it now! (and) Start rolling it back immediately! It may take decades just to execute those two new ideas.

Is anyone in the GOP listening? We don't want bipartisanship, we want a stop to this madness.

Sparkle and warmth fall under the category of style.

The conservatives of yesteryear were judged on their substance, now they are judged on their style.

Oh Bullsh*t!

Your Palin bias is showing.

You so-objective and so-concerned posters are anything but objective. Next time, read the article instead of just the title before you comment so you don't embarrass yourself.

Blankley described in long detail the substance of Sarah's speech. And then he concluded by saying the substance of Sarah's speech was deleted with "sparkle and sincerity".

Reagan had sparkle, warmth, and substance.

So does Sarah Palin.

You really should read the article.

Sarah has both style and substance.... that is what makes her so frightening to the Left and the Rinos. Run,Sarah,Run; Drill, baby, Drill. We have enough resources to satisfy our needs and then some. An effort to recover those resources and put them to use will provides jobs, lots of jobs. Think, exploration, recovery, transportation, refining, distribution and the necessary technology for all of the previous. It will end our financial nightmare AND our dependence on people who want to kill us. WIN, WIN. Sarah has more experience in dealing with oil companies, environmentalists, and crooked pols, than anyone in either party. AND she has had remarkable success in dealing with all of them. In fact, some of the crooked pols she encountered, in her own party, are currently guests of the state, attired in orange jumpsuits, thanks to Sarah. Think of the fun she’d have in Washington.

First you argue, basing your argument on the title, that Blankley was judging Sarah based on style and not substance.

Then, when I point out to you that Blankley's article was really judging Sarah on substance AND style, you move the bar and change your argument to, (said in a high pitched, concerned voice) "well he is judging her on substance but his judgement on Palin's substance is incorrect".

LOL!

And if I were to take the time to show your latest point to be incorrect, I'm sure you will move the bar again.

LOL!
