Why is this type of thing even up for discussion?
I figure that if there were not some liberal or radical group pushing this, then the textbooks would continue to have the same history as before. Am I right? In other words, these drastic changes would only come about due to pressure groups wanting to white wash history. Otherwise, updated versions of existing textbooks would have the same information as previous editions.
How is this different than how the communists used to re-write history, to reflect their thinking?
We’re going to delete Columbus, Christmas, Nathan Hale, Daniel Boone, from history? And replace them with what? Kwanzaa? Rosie O’Donnell as a civil rights leader? Hugh Hefner for his role in today’s sexual “freedom” as the highlight of American history? What are they smoking??????
They might as well delete from the text books that the American slavery of blacks ever happened..
