Amen brother...I've re-read the last chapter in the book about 10 times, especially the talk with the Major as he tells the Colonel that 25,000 people are all that's left in NYC.
Every time I read the end of that book I get WAY too personally involved. I tear up EVERY time Col. John Matherson drives into town and meets up with the Army unit. Especially since he had to bury his daughter just a few pages prior.
