It looks like he wants to distance himself from the Democrat party and Obama for the time being to run for President to me.
Dem. talking heads warning Bayh that Tom Bradley tried this some years back and the party walked away. Obama is probably not pleased...rats jumping ship.
Let’s face it folks, the guy is getting old and why not enjoy your golden-parachute millions during your last few years, rather than having to show up every day, doing the daily grind of serving constituents. Not all these decisions are that complicated. He’s “been there, done that”, now it’s time to relax with the wife, mistress, and grandkiddys.
Anyone been over on the DU? I love seeing them in panic mode. I have never seen them hate their party so much.
Watch out. He’ll be back. He’s trying to portray himself as a middle of the road person, so he can make a run at the presidency. Gotta rebuild his image after voting yes on the healthcare mess.
