Did medieval kings care when their serfs said "no" to anything they did? Of course not.

We're nothing but serfs, and have been nothing but serfs for a long time now. IMO, our serfdom was made official whenever it was that the government enacted this obscene confiscatory withholding of income taxes and taxes to pay for social entitlement programs.
