The 2012 Presidential Campaign Started This Weekend, And Ron Paul Is In The Lead

Congratulations to anti-Fed, libertarian Congressman Ron Paul, who just won the first "primary" of the 2012 election!
Well, technically it wasn't a primary, it was a straw poll held at CPAC, the huge conservative convention that's been going on the last few days.
In the straw poll, Paul easily whipped second-place finisher Mitt Romney -- the former PE chief and liberal Massachusetts governor, who's trying to ride Scott Brown's coattails to a second chance at his party's Presidential nomination.
Of course, this was a narrow field -- only CPAC attendees were eligible for the vote (no Sarah Palin this year) -- and only 25% of attendees voted. But still!

If we placed supreme importance in straw polls anmd online polls back in 2008, then Ron Paul is now the president.
Hyperbole will not propel a nutcase like Paul, or any of the worshippers from hus cult, into he Oval Office.
Ya’ll played that game in 2008 and got what, 40 or so delegates?

Around 1200 Obama supporting college students who had been brought to the CPAC shindig especially for the purpose of voting for Paul, did just that so now Ron Paul is practically president. OK I get it.

So I guess Obama gets a second term? If the republican party has Paul as their candidate then I'd say yes, the republican party is choosing Obama as their real candidate. The same goes if they select Romney, Gingrich or McCain.

President Paul. Yes, but Paul who?

Paul will be a shoo in to win the primary provided only 25% turn out to vote and Palin supporters don't vote.
