Inhofe Calls For Gore To Defend Climate Claims Before Congress By Noel Sheppard Created 02/23/2010 - 10:46
Senator James Inhofe (R-Okla.) is calling for a criminal investigation into the actions of scientists associated with the growing scandal known as ClimateGate.
The ranking Republican on the Senate Environment & Public Works Committee also wants former Vice President Al Gore to be brought back to Capitol Hill to defend comments he's made in the past to Congress concerning the theory of manmade global warming.
Such was reported [1] by Charlie Martin Tuesday morning:
Senator James Inhofe (R-OK) today asked the Obama administration to investigate what he called “the greatest scientific scandal of our generation” — the actions of climate scientists revealed by the Climategate Files, and the subsequent admissions by the editors of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Fourth Assessment Report (AR4).
Senator Inhofe also called for former Vice President Al Gore to be called back to the Senate to testify.
“In [Gore's] science fiction movie, every assertion has been rebutted,” Inhofe said. He believes Vice President Gore should defend himself and his movie before Congress.
Inhofe gave citizens a "Sneak Peek [2]" into this report at his EPW blog Tuesday:
What emerges from our review of the emails and documents, which span a 13-year period from 1996 through November 2009, is much more than, as EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson put it, scientists who "lack interpersonal skills." Rather, the emails show the world's leading climate scientists discussing, among other things:
* Obstructing the release of damaging data and information; * Manipulating data to reach preconceived conclusions; * threatening journal editors who published work questioning the climate science "consensus"; and * Assuming activist roles to influence the political process.
Inhofe continued:
We knew they were cooking the science to support the flawed UN IPCC agenda. As I said on the Senate floor back in 2005 that "the IPCC has demonstrated an unreasoning resistance to accepting constructive critiques of its scientific and economic methods, even in the report itself...this is a recipe for de-legitimizing the entire endeavor in terms of providing credible information that is useful to policy makers."
And back in 2003 I said blaming global warming on CO2 and other man made gases is the ‘greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people." I was right.

Unfortunately for Inhofe, Boxer controls that Committee and we wont see Gore or an investigation.
But the elections in Nov. could change all of that.
But haven't you heard? The debate's over.
That "investigation" will wind up filed, alphabetically, just behind the "Black Panther" investigation.

Generation Investment Management was funded by former Vice President Al Gore and former Goldman Sachs CEO David Blood in 2004. The firm’s web site says the company invests in “key drivers of global change including climate change and environmental degradation; macroeconomics, poverty and development; water and natural resource scarcity; pandemics and healthcare; and demographics, migration and urbanization.”
The company raised $15 million in May 2009 from DAG Ventures, Benchmark Capital, Virgin Green Fund, Amadeus Capital and Balderton Capital.
He should call Thomas Karl, Obama’s new climate czar to testify, he’s been intimately involved in the climategate coverup.
As far as I’m concerned it’s time to go scorched earth on the hoaxers.

He’s doing a great job right where he is.....I’d rather have outstanding Lt, Co, Sgts etc than one good General. A good General surrounds himself with outstanding subordinates. We need to clone him and surround a good organizer.
BTW, Bill Nye looks like one of those old tall, skinny guys who rides a sit-up-straight old bike (at about 5mph) while wearing a straw hat.
