Found a cooked cricket in my green beans at a mom/pop restaurant once. I called the waitress over and asked her if that was the “secret ingredient” because they were pretty tasty.
I ate for free that day.

Quite frankly, I am surprised that more people don’t find more unexpected protein in their veggies. I worked in a canning factory for two summers and a lot of nasty things can happen.
