Afghanistan: Soldiers from Mortar Platoon 2 RAR engage the Taliban with 81mm mortars. Special locating gear and the mark one eyeball have identified the enemy firing position or point of origin, known as the poo, and the mortars are clear to fire. Targets must be positively identified before the diggers can send any ordnance down range.
