Washington, DC: --- As Black History Month draws to a close, the web site The Root has chosen to publish a hateful article that demeans black conservatives solely for their political views -- grouping them with brutal dictators, convicted criminals and self-centered celebrities. This has drawn a stinging rebuke from Project 21 member Bob Parks.
"It doesn't take much for liberals to call black conservatives 'self-hating,'" noted Parks, "but what is it called when someone decides that blacks deemed inappropriate should be wholly removed from history? What kind of egos are we talking about here?"
The Root is operated by The Washington Post. Professor Henry Louis Gates, Jr. serves as The Root's editor-in-chief.

“Professor Henry Louis Gates, Jr”
Gates... Gates... now where do I know that name from? Oh wait, could that be the professor who spurred our President to call an entire police department RACIST?
Yeah, I think we are seeing the ‘chickens coming home to roost’ of Affirmative Action in our society.
Skip uses a cane . . . and I don’t think it’s due to an old football injury. Under Obamacare he would be put down.
Wow! A leftie trying to re-write history! Who woulda’ thunk it?
Gates?
Just a bad black joke.....an extremist who is perpetuating his own marxist racism . I really don’t understand why he gets so much air time other than he must have a following of equally misguided people who want to blame everything on whitey. He should come to recognize there are more whites out there who are disadvantaged then him and his crew, and they are Americans (not brit americans, germ americans or ital americans) Instead of perpetuating his circle of hateand politics, he should get into the 21st century.
This philosophy goes along perfectly with our local black history museum, where black people invented everything including the personal computer and the cell phone. I am not kidding. That is actually in the local museum. There is a certain element in the black community that always seems desperate to recreate history and to build a false one. Always seems odd to me.
Especially when you consider the amount of time and effort some blacks put into reminding everyone they were downtrodden slaves and the rest of us owe them something. Hard to be inventors of all modern technology while you are enslaved and beaten down. Slaves don’t exactly have a lot of resources to create cutting edge inventions. I get so tired of this nonsense.
Great article on Gates over at WND...
“...”Since 1991, Gates has been teaching African American studies at Harvard, where he serves as the director of the W. E. B. Du Bois Institute for African and African American Research. De Bois, an American civil rights activist, sociologist, historian and author, was an avowed communist and also a socialist sympathizer.
Du Bois was for a brief time a member of the Socialist Party. In 1927 he infamously traveled to the USSR, where he called the Soviet system “the most hopeful vehicle for the world.” Eight years later, he published the book “Black Reconstruction,” which offered a Marxist interpretation of the Reconstruction Era. ...”

Does this mean they’ll rename all those Martin Luther King Streets, Boulevards, and Avenues as well?
