Yeah, that’ll shore up Slick Willard’s Conservative credentials by appearing on Lettercreep.

If he really wants me to break out the TiVo, he should have Paul Ryan.

LATE NIGHT GOP WARS: Letterman Pits Mitt Romney Against Leno's Sarah Palin

The ratings are not even going to be close. The ratings for Sarah Palin on Leno will smoke Romney on Letterman with room to spare.

LETTERMAN's "TOP 10 Reasons Willard "Mitt" RomneyCARE is a Disgusting LOSER"

10. RomneyCARE's endless shapeshifting, flip-flopping and taking 3 sides to every issue.
9. RomneyCARE's appointments of corrupt, liberal pro-criminal DNC judges, by completely overlooking all GOP candidates
8. RomneyCARE's usurping Mass Constitution to impose gay marriage without a vote
7. RomneyCARE's endless wussiness to criticism using tears, fabricated 'religious persecution', and endless claiming that if you do not vote for him you "hate Mormons".
6. RomneyCARE's coverup of the "Big Dig" for donations.
5. RomneyCARE's bankruptcy of Massachusetts for his RomneyCARE imposed without a vote.
4. RomneyCARE's endless targetting of other GOP candidates and their children.
3. RomneyCARE's use of fake law enforcement officers (caught in at least two states).
2. RomneyCARE's claiming he is a "winner" when he buys votes, cheats, and whines.
1. RomneyCARE's past behavior of backstabbing GOP candidates by using surrogates, rather than being a man and doing it in the open, himself.

While I’m not a huge Mitt fan, and consider MittCare to be an obomination, I don’t loath him like I do most donks. That’s why I have to ask, WTF are you thinking, Mitt? I thought you were more politically astute. This is going to be a Gozdila sized Epic Fail!

He must have been surprised by the 20 something turnout at CPAC. Ron Paul probably won’t run so there are votes there for grabs. I used to like Letterman decades ago but now much prefer Leno. The kids like Conan I hear but also Letterman.

Leno having political conservatives on for a couple of weeks(or longer) would smash Lettermans ratings..

"Jay Leno made news when he announced that Sarah Palin will be among his high-profile guests when he returns to The Tonight Show next week (aka "The Jaysurrection"). Now David Letterman's lineup for next week pits Mitt Romney against Sarah Palin on Tuesday night -- and the ratings may well provide clues on which probable GOP presidential contender may be most popular.

I don't usually get into these posts about what movie and TV personalities are doing, but I did want to say one thing about the opening premise.

For the past several months, the "Tonight Show/Leno" on again - off again battle has pretty much left a lot of folks confused. While I would watch the Tonight Show, with Leno, occasionally (haven't watched it regularly since Johnny Carson retired) - depending on his scheduled guests - I never watched his earlier version, "The Jay Leno Show", at all.

I haven't watched Letterman in years - he's a left-wing smartass bottom feeder.

If I had only two choices, say between Letterman and Conan...I'd grit my teeth and watch Letterman.

Now, having said all that, there are a lot of people don't really keep up with all this tinsel town fluff, but may not know that Leno was coming back (for sure) to the Tonight Show, therefore to use the ratings of the two simultaneous show as a popularity poll between Palin and Romney, is a fluke.

These shows are usually viewed by younger, and more "progressively liberal" audiences, as the conservatives have all gone to bed, as they have to get up and go to work to pay the taxes for those who don't work and sit up and watch late night television....ahem.

A lot of conservatives will probably DVR the Tonight Show to see Sarah Palin, as will I - but there is no accounting for DVRing so the numbers will still be skewed.

As far as RINO Romney goes, the proof will be at the polls in 2012; being butt buddies with Scott Brown does not put Romney in the catbird seat for the Oval Office.

Of course, the lib media will skew the numbers seven ways from Sunday to make them say what they want them to say, but then...who watches lib media anymore?

The lib media always uses any "poll" that supports their side, and their side only.

/rant

You’d think Romney was planning to run for the Democrat nomination in ‘12.
