LOL. Yeah, I’ve always thought of him as very much like Snarlin Arlen and Stupid Orin Hatch rolled into one. Spiteful and loved to chum around with the swimmer.
I don’t recall what went wrong with BOR and McCain, but this is a win for JD Hayworth. Maybe BOR was critical early on, but McCain has never appeared on his show and he prevented Sarah from appearing during the campaign, although the brilliant John sent her to the enemy camps of Couric and Gibson. Go figure. McCain has also never had a conversation with Rush! LOL. I hope Rush will let JD call into to his show. That would be a huge boost.
And desperate. He is loathe to retire.
He should have gone out gracefully, but nooooo.
I am not the only FReeper who believes that since 2000, McCain has dedicated his life to hurting conservatives ;-)

I agree only in part with your post. You see, it's difficult to fight the good fight when you are always afraid of being struck in the back by a member of your own team. You should be able to know that your back is safe.
We can not do that with McCain back there, we have to get him out before we can concentrate on fighting the more serious challange, otherwise we are deliberately handicapping ourselves.
It was beyond dumb to send Palin on with Couric and Gibson and skip BOR, Bill seems to almost have a secret crush on her and I think a long interview with him would have helped her forward in a significant way... instead McCain went on programs like Larry long dead King...
JD is doing a fundraiser in Scottsdale next week and at least one Arizona Freeper will be there, I can't wait to hear her report back.

Not a McCain fan here, other than he gave us Palin. And because McCain chose Palin, he gets my respect. In addition, I hope JD wins...JD would make an excellent Senator.

The established freeper who started this thread did so in order to bash Palin while defending Obumb. Those trashing Palin while defending Obama will continue to get ridiculed. And those who defend Obama defenders are weird.

Free Republic is pretty free-wheeling WITHIN the guidelines of forum decorum and the moderated, enforced forum rules. Why does Rabs get a free pass for bashing Palin in order to defend Obumb’s horrific nose picking fake health care performance, just because of their length of stay?

In an interview with Sean Hannity on his ABC News radio show, Sarah Palin chastised President Obama for telling Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), during the health care summit, “the campaign is over.”
“Todd and I both saw that,” said Palin, “and we both said, you know, how arrogant for our president to say that.” She called McCain “an American war hero who has sacrificed so much,” arguing that for him “to be dissed like that on national television did not speak well for our president’s character.”
This part of the interview was the reason the person who started this decided to bash Palin. The Palin’s were right on when they called O-bumb ARROGANT. Obumbs character is lacking. Obumb’s recent weak performance should never be defended via Palin bashing.
