In an interview with Sean Hannity on his ABC News radio show, Sarah Palin chastised President Obama for telling Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), during the health care summit, the campaign is over.
Todd and I both saw that, said Palin, and we both said, you know, how arrogant for our president to say that. She called McCain an American war hero who has sacrificed so much, arguing that for him to be dissed like that on national television did not speak well for our presidents character.
It was about as soft an interview as these exchanges can be. I like it when you say common-sense conservatism, said Hannity. That, to me, means Reagan conservatism.
Juan McCain is an idiot and Obama does not respect the fawning RINO. Time for McCain to retire.
You can take the...oh, nevermind.
My reaction was visceral. I may not like McCain and see him as a RINO of the first order — and I will never forgive him for stepping on my 1st Amendment rights.
But people outside the family don’t get to insult my nutty uncle — that’s for us only.
obama’s arrogance through this whole process is nauseating. He acts like he is the boss — someone should tell him how the 3 branches of government work.
I hate it, just I I hated "compassionate conservatism". It suggests that conservative, in and of itself, in not based in common sense.
Conservatism needn't be qualified.

I think you miss the point, which I thought Sarah communicated very well. She was saying that Zero should have showed McCain respect for his service, both as a military man and his years in congress. I thought the same thing when I saw the exchange yesterday. And I agree with Sarah on this one.
Obama is like smart ass teenager. Put downs are a real turn on for this clown.
Even as we speak, it is being arranged. I've heard from sources in the TPM (Tea Party Mafiosa) that calls are being made. Just between you and me, the hit is scheduled for August 24, 2010.

(Oops, did I use my outside voice for that?)
compared to Obama McCain is a statesman and did well at the summit. McCain can be a useful idiot at times. Obama is the real scum here and there are degrees of scum. In any event I’m hoping Mccain is soon replaced.
It was an obviously canned, rehearsed line. McCain could have read the box score from a Suns game from the night before as his opening remarks and Zero's response would have been the same.
Sarah AND you are both right on this one. Obama seemed to enjoy attempting to humiliate McCain. It failed - Obama came across as a pompous @ss.
If Obama isn't reading it off the tele prompter then he has to memorize his lines. Otherwise he's awful when he says anything off the cuff.
She sure takes on Obama a lot, I like that and it sure seems to get under his skin.
If McCain had an ounce of self respect, he would have chastised Obama for being a crude pig.
