Europe Wary Following Trail Of Dubai Killers

GENEVA (AP) - A killer - or killers - may be on the loose in Europe after a Hamas operative was slain last month in Dubai.

European nations, however, seem to be in no rush to find him, her or them. The spotlight is falling on those countries where police say the alleged assassins' trails begin and end: Switzerland, Italy, France, Germany and the Netherlands.

Authorities there have either declined to say whether they are investigating, or told The Associated Press they have no reason to hunt down the 26 suspects implicated in the Jan. 19 killing of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh.

European countries' reluctance to investigate may have something to do with the widely held belief that the killing of al-Mabhouh was carried out by a friendly intelligence agency - Israel's Mossad. The Jewish state has previously identified him as the point man for smuggling weapons to the Gaza Strip's Hamas rulers. Experts say arresting Israeli agents - or even digging up further evidence that Israel was involved - could be politically costly.

"I would guess that it's in the political interest.....

I couldn't imagine what Dubai and the Arab Press were seriously thinking when they were so euphorically proclaiming that "EUROPEAN NATIONS WOULD PARTICIPATE IN THE INVESTIGATION TO FIND THE ASSASSINS" -- they be livin' in a parallel reality, say what?! I mean how naive can they genuinely be?

Anybody have any idea what the average IQ is, in Dubai????

Surely the European intelligence agencies know better than to do anything to even remotely offend Mossad?

er...um... so let me see if I have the math right.

Here are these european nations trying to find agents that killed a mass murderer all the while they appease the islamic leaders that encourage strapping bombs onto their children to blow up innocent people....

Did I miss anything?

There has been much talk that the Mossad allegedly killed some Hamas Nazi and that Israel should be punished for killing this creep. As this is the case, I think both the Mossad people and James Bond should finally face justice.

Here is my case:

James Bond in the documentary Thunderball clearly shows what a violater of international law he is.

For one thing at 1.33 min of the documentary he tells the french agent that Jacque Boiviar killed two of his colleagues, when Sean Connery should have said that Jacque Boiviar allegedly had killed two of his colleagues (hrumph).

Also, later on in the documentary, James Bond kills a transvestite or a transexual (3.55 minutes into the documentary). James Bond is clearly shown to be a racist, homophobic, politically incorrect bastard! It is therefore my opinion that Interpol and the Arabs should put James Bond on trial for murder alongside the Mossad! Yeppers. That makes sense as the Thunderball documentary proves.

Thank you for giving me space for this most important post.

There's no need to fear. Underzog is here!

Dubai Police Commissioner Khalfan needs his head examined, now he's rantin' & ravin' again about Bibi and Meir, modernday heroes, even if they had absolutely nothing to do with this assassination of a murderous Hamas terrorist.

This is about Arab wounded pride. Dubai was supposed to be so safe that this Hamas dog was walking around without any bodyguards...oops.

Israel once again tells its enemies that they are not safe...anywhere.

Poor AP, not all Countries are like MSM & democrats. Killing terrorists like Hamas is not such a bad thing like AP think.

LOLOL -- seriously, I once read or heard that some mideastern country where the average IQ was 70 -- so I think you're mistaken; perhaps 100 is the average HERE in the USA, by definition.

I can't recall which country they were chatting about.....

No... I think it might cost you your life. There are some things that should just be left alone. I can think of many actually.

Unexploded ordnance

two drunk Navy SEALs fighting with knives

Pit Bull foaming at the mouth and biting up at the clouds

Grizzly bear cub

"sleeping" 19 foot crocodile

Israeli black ops team that doesn't want to be found and has killed a well protected target.

Sorry, couldn't resist - though I had a similar discussion here a few weeks ago...

For any given sample population, the average is, by definiton!, always 100 (the center, high point of the Gaussian distribution curve). This also holds true for Dubai.

Of course, if you take the global population as your sample, then the Dubai subset may well be towards the lower end of the curve, i.e. IQ < 100. But that wouldn't be the average Dubai IQ, but rather the IQ of the Dubai population as compared to the rest of the world. quod erat demonstrandum...;-)
