I wonder if 0's association with Moby Dick is limited simply to his obsession with HCR. Yesterday someone posted a picture from the 1950's movie of Moby Dick which depicted Ahab entangled in ropes on the back of the whale, still trying to implant more harpoons, as MD was submerging.
