LAKE JACKSON, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Congressman Ron Paul today endorsed Adam Kokesh, Republican candidate for Congress in New Mexico’s third district.

“As a fellow Veteran, Adam understands the many challenges facing our brave men and women in Uniform and the steps we must take to strengthen our national defense.”

Said Dr. Paul, “Adam Kokesh has been a tremendous supporter of mine. Now, it is time for me to support him.

“As a fellow Veteran, Adam understands the many challenges facing our brave men and women in Uniform and the steps we must take to strengthen our national defense.

“Adam Kokesh has dedicated his life to fighting for Liberty. He has set himself apart as one of the bold young leaders our Country sorely needs as we strive to restore our Freedoms and what has made America the greatest nation in history. I am very happy that Adam has decided to run for Congress and wholeheartedly endorse him.”

For more information on Adam Kokesh, please visit www.KokeshforCongress.com.

Congressman Paul’s endorsement comes through his Liberty PAC, a Republican leadership PAC committed to supporting Liberty minded candidates across the country.

Said Liberty PAC director Jesse Benton, “Adam Kokesh is a terrific candidate who is going to ask tough questions like: ‘Why is Ben Lujan voting to run up crushing budget deficits?’, ‘Why has he allowed President Obama to expand the war in Afghanistan?’, and, ‘Will Ben Lujan stand up for the rights of his constituents and work to reform the Patriot Act?’ The constituents of New Mexico’s 3rd district deserve answers to these questions. Adam Kokesh will hold Mr. Lujan accountable.”

Well, if anyone had any doubts, it is now official, the Code Pinkos and the Paultards are in alliance. (Kokesh is the Code Pink, Move-On supported anti-war traitor).

Was Kokesh one of those fake soldiers running around a while back?

And as for Paul, he said he was a Tea Party founder while at the same time supporting the code pinko nuts.

This is getting really weird.

He is weird. And why does he keep saying (Paul), he said he was a Tea Party founder . He wasn't and people know it.

If you figure that out let the rest of us in on your secret, ok? Otherwise we'll all just have to post Captain Obvious pics.

He was a real soldier but he lied about his service, rank, and medals.

Thank you! The connections between Ron Paul and these fringe elements just keep growing. Maybe someday people will wake up to who are running some of these Tea Party PACs and donate straight to candidates not to the PACs at all.

The Paulbots and Libertarians have joined together to try and hijack a lot of Republican organizations and have been doing it for two years that I know of and could go back more.

Will someone tell me how that whole bunch can be considered conservative with their stand on social issues, immigration, and our national security? Isolationist is not something I support as a Conservative Republican.

The last platform that was submitted at the OK Convention in 2009 is not something most Republican candidates would run on and if they did, they wouldn’t get my vote. It was written by the Paul people who were attempting to take over the State Chair but failed when a lot of the Common Sense turned out. I was sitting with a State Rep and former State Rep and kept asking if he would run on this section or that section — he was shocked to read what the Platform said and so was most people I know.

Thanks for posting this and adding more pieces to the puzzle. Electing someone like this to Congress would be a disaster.

Just shut down the front of your brain for a few minutes.

Which oddly enough then gives you a few minutes of mental equivalence with Paulitards...

The sad part is because this race is getting support by the full Ron Paul CFL machine as well as Move On and Code Pink, plus that all the other candidates can’t even get a newspaper mention, there is a chance Kokesh can pull it off.

Just shut down the front of your brain for a few minutes.

It's very peaceful now that you mention it. I think I'll vote for Ron Paul now, I think I'll vote for Ron Paul now, I think I'll vote for Ron Paul now... (zzzzzzzzz...)

We are up to post 11 and no Paulbots or Libertarians out defending this guy — what’s wrong? Usually they hit one the first five posts — someone must be sleeping in today.

Didn't he invent the interweb?

Paul gets branded as a kook because he's been willing to go against the grain on the Federal Reserve and the folly called the War On Drugs.

Aren’t the anti-war, pot smokers in the other party?

How did Ron Paul and his pollspammers find a home in the Republican party like some kinda of unwanted vermin in the attic?

I mean, I am glad the libertarian folks realized they could never win anything on a 3rd party ticket, but if they are going to join the GOP, please leave the hippie peacenik baggage at the door.
